My Forum Pitch
I dream of a truly inclusive city where our dinner tables and lives are shared with those who are vastly different to us. Where those on the margins of our communities are not problems to solve, but friends to know.
Benjamin is Co-Founder of The Free Store: a Wellington non-profit that annually redistributes $3.5m worth of quality surplus food from inner-city eateries to people in need from all walks of life. He has pioneered a wider food waste movement using a sustainable model of grassroots community action that has spread to 9 communities throughout New Zealand and beyond.
